It all started a few years ago at my kitchen counter. My small children were growing up fast, my anxiety was peaking and my pets were aging. I needed an outlet and found it while painting with an online tutorial. I was hooked. The next several months I honed in on those new skills and techniques with the goal to be able to paint my own pets before they crossed the rainbow bridge. Soon, other people started asking for their own pet portraits and it snowballed from there! I feel so lucky to call this my job and honored to be trusted with your pet’s portrait.

Our little family lives in the Pacific Northwest where we spend many hours outdoors taking care of our mini farm, hiking and exploring. When I need a mental reset, we head to the mountains to breathe.

Before becoming a mom, I enjoyed my career as a veterinary technician. So, I guess my love of animals has been a life-long passion. There’s no escaping it! I can look out my window and see our mini goats, turkeys, and chickens all putzing around making happy noises.

In the house we have 3 dogs that fill my heart with so much joy and are a constant inspiration for portrait paintings. While the kids are away at school, these little pups are my best friends! I hope to paint your pet with as much love and attention that I give to my own pets.
